“We love having Dalja as part of our family, she loves people and is very sociable and friendly. She is interested in our cats too but they are still a little afraid so we set up her food and bed in a separate room from the for the time being. She absolutely loves going on walks so each family member walks her every day. She does a few tricks now such as sit and give paw and lie down and “dance”, and she started doing them so quickly we wondered if she was taught them earlier. She had dry skin when we adopted her so we have been using coconut oil and now she has almost no flakes and a beautiful shiny coat. She loves to nap next to someone which we all love. We are planning to start Dalja in obedience classes soon partially for the obedience and partially to socialize her with other dogs since when we go on walks she barks at other dogs a lot. She shows great interest in playing but doesn’t seem to know how so we are working on introducing her to dog toys and the game of fetch.”
